I so many problems what small compost, and mushroom producer has regarding
mushroom spawn.
Even now is difficult to make, spawn, by on self. Quality and quantity of spawn, make big problem , when we have not stable mother culture.
The biggest problem is to find good "mother culture" and buy it, if we are far from
Europe or USA.
To buy spawn from Sylvan or some other producer is rather expensive
and sometimes has not possibility to transport spawn safely.
On the base of experience, what we have with independent laboratory from Italy,
I suggest to try to buy " Petri dish" with mother culture from MIKO ,laboratory from Italy.
They has spawn and "mother culture" of different Mushroom spawn :
Agaricus bisporus, Agaricus bitorquis, Portobello, Pleurotus sp.
Their spawn is stable, and can be good way to produce spawn, in proper laboratories.
This can be one way to resolve problems with mushrooms spawn.
