Greetings i want to ask a few questions..
First when preparing compost for industrial mushroom farming in large bins (around 20-30 cubic meters) is it better using passive aeration system( mainly pipes and tubes, or turning) or active system (flushing air in the pipes and tubes)? How much air should i flush and how long should i do it? At what temperature it is better to turn the compost? Thank you in advance/
Best Regards

Dear Mr. Kalmukov,
Every mushroom farm has its technology, and technical possibility.
You can make compost according your equipment, climate, economical posibility.
If you use Indoor technology, (you call it bins, bunker system),
You can use ambos of these technologies.
However, the best way, is combination of both of them.
System with "spigot floor" and forced air ventilation, and after few days turning compost from one to other bin, is best way.
However, as has not two same mushroom farm, has not possibility to give you instruction, how much of air to use, how to ventilate compost.
I suggest you, to make contact with Mr. Tsarev, and see with him about personalized instructions, that are appropriated for your mushroom farm.
Best regards Ljiljana.
