Is lack of oxygen the only reason for mushroom caps opened when mushrooms small - ca 3-4 cm diameter?

How often should mushrooms be picked and at what size?

Are white agaricus mushrooms marketable when caps opened? I know brown agaricus is sold when caps opened and called partabella

    Problems with open mushroom caps, can be because of lack of O2.
    This can happened if CO2 is too high, but in this case has not just opened mushrooms but also elongated mushroom stem.
    In case of premature opened caps, reason can be lack of water, in the casing soil.
    Problem with open mushroom caps, can be if has so much primordial of mushroom
    formed.
    Some of this symptoms, can be reason, or together, some of factors why mushroom caps are opened, prematurely.
    Portobello, brown mushrooms, we pick when they are partly opened, it is normal procedure, because we left them to grow till get bigger size.
    Problem with opened mushroom caps, white mushroom, is that they liberate mass of spores, that can make problems with virus transfer….
